Compact View for BOM’s

Data Density – View 4 Lines on a BOM instead of 2!

Now on MyArrow you can decide how you want to view your Bill of Materials. Choose default view for a large, easy to read, and an in-depth look at your BOM. Or choose compact view for a quick way to see more lines per page on a larger BOM.  We’ve also reduced the header size on all BOMs so that you can see more of what’s important to you! Compact view allows you to:

• Toggle between default and compact views on any BOM
• See more parts per screen thanks to reduced row height on compact view
• Filter through your BOM better with an all-new header and filters
• View the information you originally updated with your BOM (manufacturer, part number, and customer part number)
• Access crosses more easily with a pop-up instead of the pop-down from default view

How do I utilize compact view?

1. Navigate to a BOM either from the homepage or from the BOM section
2. Select ‘compact’
3. Start viewing more lines per BOM!

New Header vs. Old Header

While developing compact view, our team realized that the new header we were using for compact view would work just as well for default view, while at the same time allowing users to view more data. Instead of reverting back to the old default header, we left the new header for both views and now you can view more lines on any BOM in MyArrow! In addition to allowing you to view more lines per BOM, the new header also gives you access to more filters so you can efficiently drill down to the data you need.
